Any words seem to be pale to describe the past week’s experience… It felt like a fantasy or dream but I tried so hard to stay awake so that I can feel every moment fully and clearly. It’s the first time I was “hired” to paint a big mural on a beach cabin and in return I got to stay in the most secluded and raw paradise that I have ever lived! The place is unlike anywhere else with one side being a long empty beach and the other side a peaceful green lagoon. We cooked right on the beach with fire and slept in the tent by the sea. One morning we saw dolphins jumping and I almost cried… I have never felt so so close to Mother Nature. The owner and other volunteers are so inspiring and adventurous and we loved chatting under the stars with the sound of waves and accompany of the geese (the pets there). It’s the biggest painting I’ve ever made and it was super fun yet challenging but oh my, I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it! For this painting I wanted to tell a story: a Sea Elves was scared of getting hurt so she/he locked its heart in the deep ocean, until one day it is ready again to free its heart and feel everything the world has to offer. 💙♥️ @arte_y_arena_mx thank you for everything!
